Is the neck on the fender geddy lee jazz bass narrower than the neck on most other jazz basses?

I’ve read a couple of reviews that suggest that the geddy lee jazz bass has an even narrower neck than most jazz basses. Is this true, as I have never actually played one.

I love Geddy and Fender Jazz basses. They are very nice basses but they do have a VERY narrow neck – Geddy had his shaved down and they copy that.
If you have small hands it’s great, but I couldn’t get used to it.
I recommend the Route 61 basses – they’re a lot of bass for the money, or go to the store and give the Geddy a try – may be just for you!
