Ownership of the two go with the fender, even Mexicans unless they are will replace the pads, and the tuning heads. If you want the best guitars for the price, however, go with the Fender Mexican, or get an Epiphone Les Paul, Gibson and put the PAF pickups in them. You will not be disappointed. I do not care how I get on this score listen to me, I have owned all the models you are talking, I play for a job, and I guide you down the wrong path. All guitars are good though. It just depends on how you use them, and what you use. A good amplifier makes a difference in the world too. No guitar sounds good garbage.
