fender jazz bass fretless
where can i buy a maple bass neck?
So I’m looking to buy a maple bass fretboard…only the neck
i keep looking on google, and i can’t find a place that sells one…I want to switch it out with my maple..cause I’m unsatisfyed with it, its only my fender standard jazz bass.
And I’d also like it fretless, anyone know where to look?
Theres a company by the name of Warmoth that sells necks, and they are of very high quality. Carvin is another you might want to try, and a lot of their necks are Fender compatible. Theres also some necks on ebay that pop up every so often. By going fretless, dont know the success your going to have finding a maple fretboard. I have not seen a lot of fretless maple fretboards in my 40+years of bass playing. Ebony or Rosewood is usually what you will find.
