fender jaguar tremolo problems?

i just got a fender jaguar
the tremolo arm was not in place, which seems very logical.
but i have absolutely no idea how to put the arm in the socket.
i can drop it in, but it just stays really loose.
i used to have a strat, which had the little grooves
but this has nothing
it would be a lot easier to set up the tremolo system
if i actually knew how to put the tremolo arm in.

The fender Jaguar tremolo stays loose. Their’s a plastic tip that goes towards the end which prevents it dropping. it probably fell out. it doesn’t affect the playing or anything but you can order an original from Fender.
I repair for Fender , Gibson , Martin etc… so I know the parts are available. i believe it is around $20 just for the bar.

Having said this, a squier or stratocaster bar fits in the Jaquar.
