What’s the best midi interface for home recording on a PC?
Specs:
Windows Vista Ultimate OS
4gb RAM
512mb Video Card
ASUS Xonar 2sx Sound Card
Fairly decent processor (intel)
Recording using: Cakewalk Sonar 8, using a Fender Jaguar 62 reissue, and a Ibanez Bass guitar.
Hopefully looking at anything from £50 – £130.

if you want to record using a guitar you wont be using MIDI for a start, you will be using phono to jack cables I would imagine. two phonos going out of line out on the pod into a jack cable going into l ine in on your sound card
you could buy a multi tracker which has an amp sim on it or a pod and plug into line in on your sound card going from line out on the pod. its quite good for guitars so i’ve heard
MIDI is for keyboards really.
