Taking the pickguard off of a fender jazz bass?
If it take the pickguard off of this bass;

will you be able to see all the electronics? i want to take the pickguard off when i get it but i wont if you can see the electronics.
if i did this, would it look like jaco pastorius’ bass where you cannot see the electronics even though the pickguard is off? thanks
No, you would not be able to see any of the electronics of the bass. The pickguard only covers up the wood. So when you take it off, it will look like Jaco’s bass.
