These made-in-Mexico guitars are an excellent value, with a build quality, hardware, and components that come close to their American counterparts. Check Craig’s List (see http://sfbay.craigslist.org/ , and select your city/state/country) for local prices and availability; I regularly see MIM Stratocasters advertised for $275 to $375, some even with upgraded parts (see http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/msg/1485928419.html for an example).
