fender guitar color
Can I get some opinions on the color of a Fender Stratocaster Elec. Guitar?
So for Christmas (and his b-day which is in January), I am getting my boyfriend a Fender Stratocaster Left-Handed guitar as a gift. I know its something he’s wanted (took mental notes through out the year) however, he never really said anything about the color.
So now I am stuck between two colors that I have narrowed it down to:
The Arctic White with the Rosewood Fingerboard:

My girl friends tell me the white. But some guys are telling me the brown sunburst.
And yeah.. I know I could always tell him that he can change the color if he’s like to.. but I still would rather get some more opinions.

A couple of my thoughts that you might want to consider:
#1) The white one would be more appropriate for someone more outgoing, I think. The sunburst for someone more laid back.
#2) The white one will ‘yellow’ with age. I have a ’73 – will try to add pic below. It has a brass pickguard which, I think, looks pretty good with the aged finish.
#3) We all should have girlfriends like you – what a present! (whichever you get him)
#4) Consider accessories such as Straplocks (every good guitar should have them), premium cable, picks, a nice strap, etc.
#5) It will presumably come with a hardshell case, make sure it does.
Scales and modes sound, colors, improvisation, guitar!
