I play the electric guitar, what more do I have that in addition to the guitar?

Ok, I'm saving to buy my first guitar. I play as a hobby. I've been looking at the Ibanez ART100 (if you have any input I say!) I've only seen positive comments. So I know I need a amplifier as well (I was looking at Fender frontman 10G 10W combo, any input?) What else do I need? I know I need a cable to connect guitar and amp, but I do not know what they're called … Also, the amp has a headphone jack, but I'm not sure if I would need an adapter?
