fender deville blues

what do you think of this set up for some sweet blues?
first of all, im not a beginner but iv only been playing for about 6 months.
i know how beginners have a hard time playing nicer guitars, now do you think this may be too hard for me to play in about 8 more months?
ok so i think im going to purchase a bb king epiphone in the spring

Perfect. Who told you beginners have a harder time playing nicer guitars? If anything, you wont be fighting against your rig for a change. If you were a beginning athlete, would you buy cheap equipment? And dont listen to those old farts telling you to buy cheap stuff. they are just jealous. besides, guiatr should be fun, and if you want a better guitar, get what you want and screw the old sour men. Anyway, that will be a great set up. The only problem I have with Epi’s is that they are too expensive for a Chinese guitar. Maybe you might want to consider something else to give you a little more versatility in case you want to play other music. Telecaster? Thats what I use for everything nowadays. Back in the 90′s I had an Epi Sheraton II JLH Boogie Man that I run through a Twin Reverb, and it had the best tone I ever got in 36 yrs of playing guitar… so you’ll be fine.
