An Epiphone Les Paul Custom or Fender Stratocaster?

I do not know which is better. Which would you choose? Give me some information about each a guitar if possible. I'm leaning towards the Les Paul.

The Epiphone Les Paul is a graduate of the version of the Gibson Les Paul. The stock pickups in them are less impressive, and you need to update if you start playing for real (loss of money in my humble opinion). If it were Gibson Les Paul vs. American Fender Start, I'd say it's a personal preference, but that's not the case. You could get a luxury home with the traditional sound of trucks the price of an Epiphone Les Paul Custom, Fender so I get the luxury home without thinking twice. If you insist on humbuckers get (these are the pickups of the Les Paul), receives an Ibanez when is low-end guitars, which are the best in my humble opinion.
