i am going to be getting a new guitar after i save up enough i play pop-punk and emo
here is what i have chosen
epiphone dot studio
http://www.zzounds.com/item–EPIEDTS
if i get this im going to flip it to a lefty and if i dont like the pickups im going to put a seymour duncan hot rodded humbucker set in them (my local shop has it for $200 because the truss rod cover is missing)
epiphone les paul custom

fender standard strat
http://www.zzounds.com/item–FEN0144620
if i get this im getting it in white and then putting a black pickguard on it with the seymour duncan hot rodded humbucker set
im also probably going to get a line 6 spider III 75 and the FBV footswitch
if there is any other guitars that i should consider or if u have any sugestions please tell me im not good at making these kinds of decisions on my own
I’d take a close at them, and try them first.
The 1st guitar you posted, looks like the bridge has a slant to it, which will be a problem, if you flip the strings over,
The bridge is set into the body, with “posts’.
(unlike the Strat)
You may not be able to adjust the bridge properly, to set the intonation,
which means it won’t play in tune, as you play up the neck.
Since the guitar is there, ask the shop if they “guarantee” that the strings can be flipped, and play in tune, before you pay for it.
You can buy truss rod covers for a few bucks.
And you will need to change the nut, on any guitar that you flip the strings on.
I’d bite the bullet, and get a real lefty,
I think you’ll be happier in the long run.
And I NEVER buy a guitar, that I haven’t played first.
Let the guitar pick you.
good luck
