Which Guitar Not Enough Time …?

I went to the guitar shop today and was looking to play a fender 72 deluxe but they didn’t have any in stock so i played the custom .. i really want to get the fender 72 but its £612 and i can pay monthly but it’s £54 a month and i don’t have that money and i don’t have enough time to wait that long to save up .. but i also played a Epiphone les paul custom (ebony) and i seemed nice and a very goodlooking guitar .. i need this for a gig thing coming up and i am lead guitar so should i wait even though i need it quick or just get the epiphone les paul which is in my price range ???

Epiphone. you should absolutely get the Epiphone. I have the same guitar, and have been playing for a long time by now at many many many gigs, and I have learned that I wouldn’t even take a Gibson over the Epiphone. Although Fenders have that signature blues clap sound, if you are playing any sort of rock or even blues still, the les paul will present the tone you want.
