CS 69 pups Could work in a Fender Lite Ash Start?

I am new to the world of better guitar pickups. I'm thinking of putting some '69s Fender Custom Shop Fender Start in my Lite Ash. Currently, my output has Seymour Duncan APS-1 stock pickups. I'm assuming that any single coil can be put in any start, but as I said I'm a newbie in these things. I will be with the pills professionally done by my local guitar tech. Does anyone suspect that there will be no problem to substitute the pills? Must be a direct replacement easy, you can do yourself with some light soldering. Also: Welcome to the world of modding guitars, is addictive.
