Is this guitar all right to buy?

I have been playing guitar for about 5 years now, and use an Epiphone SG Special. I am really tiring of its poor quality, and want to move on to something better. I picked out the Fender Classic Series ’50s Stratocaster, which costs $700. Is this a healthy jump? For me it is a lot of money, but it would last me a very long time.

The Fender is an amazing choice. I have 2 of them. You can play any style on them and they last forever
