Dreadnought?
I have been looking to buy a new guitar for Christmas. I have been comparing two guitars online.

I haven’t actually played either guitar yet, but they are in my price range and are the brand and type of guitar that I want. What is the difference between these two here? What is a “dreadnought”?
The large dreadnought was named after a class of battleships (“dread nought,” or “fear nothing”) and was co-designed by F. H. Martin (1866-1948) and Harry L. Hunt.
The earliest dreadnought was a member of the three-guitar Martin-built Ditson line.
Specifications existing between a parlor guitar and a dreadnought are significant, with many guitarists preferring the smaller of the two for comfort playing as opposed to those desiring dreadnought size for projection volume.
