fender cabinet 2×12

you can have a 4 ohm amplifier connected to a 16 ohm 2×12 cab?
Fender Deville 2×12 Hot I have a bar. its 60 watts and I can switch between 2 and 4 ohms. so going to buy an orange furniture .. since I had a good deal on one and wondered if that would work. I mean, I'm fairly new to the booths and connect to an amp .. so i need help
Do not do it. Or buy a cabinet 2 or 4 ohm impedance or receive more than a taxi which has an impedance in parallel on 2 or 4 ohms. Look up online how to calculate the impedance in parallel. This is probably not feasible for you with only 60 watts of power in the amplifier. Conducting a higher load impedance can and probably fry the output transformer. This is because the most common sources of the tube is taken in the cabinet (which was designed to handle a lower load, as load increases, the current is removed the output transformer is less than the current supplied through the tubes. There is also the possibility of could fry the tubes. I recommend against it.
