Fender Deville Vs. Fender Deluxe Hot Rod amp?

I am trying to decide between these two amps and want to hear some opinions preferably by owners. I play prog. rock, funk driven jazz and the occasional 16 bar blues jam. Are there any problems with the Hot Rod Series or is it worth the money?
