Will my amp work on a bass guitar?

I have a Fender amp that came with a 6 string guitar and it came with the cable too. I was wondering if I could use the same cable with the same amp on a bass guitar.

Be careful or you’ll blow it out. Guitar amps cant handle the low end of a bass too well.
