A few electric guitar questions..?

I have been playing the guitar for maybe… 1 month now.
But i am having an issue:
1. I have a Fender Frontman 15G amp. I am not looking for anything loud, cause i am just playing in my garage pretty much. But i am looking for something without the buzz of this amp. It is always buzzing, this buzzing got quieter after i bought a better cable (monster amp cable for rock). So if anyone knows a more budger (looking to spend under $200) amp that doesnt have the buzzing.

The second question kinda ties into the first a tiny bit.
2. The Line6 POD 2.0. I was recommended this from a guy at Guitar Center. He said that its great for beginners and experts, and it gives the sounds i am looking for when trying to cover a song or anything like that. Now i wanted your opinion… first, will it work with a Frontman 15g or w/e amp you think i should get? and second, is it worth it?

Thanks a ton!
-Bill

Unless you have noisy single coils on your guitar, which produce tons of buzzing, it is most likely that little amp doing all the noise. If i knew the model of guitar you have it would be very easy to isolate where the buzz is coming from.
That Line6 emulator might seem like just the thing you want; but trust me i would rather you buy a better amp than try to mimic the sound of one from a little round box. You will be glad in the long run to have the better amp.
A Marshall MG30 DFX will roast that Fender in every way possible. A great little amp with tons of tone & can be had on Ebay for under $100.00.
Hope this helps~!
