What should I buy … Hot Rod '52 Telecaster Deluxe Telecaster Ash or American?

This is my first Telecaster and Fender all my first guitar other guitars are Gibson. So I do not know much about Telecaster. If you could help me decide what to go that would be awesome! I have two in mind. As I'm looking for primarily is the one with the best quality and sound with each twangier. 1. Vintage Hot Rod '52 Telecaster or 2. American Deluxe Series Ash Telecaster Many thanks advance!
