what guitar do you think will work?

i was thinking a american fender telecaster HH, pretty much because it has humbuckers. i play mostly indie rock, but i play some metal, pop, and a bunch of other stuff too, do you think the tele will work? if not what do you think would work? and i dont really want to have to worry about pedals, or other things that can change arround the sound of the guitar, or not too many i mean.

a tele is a good guitar and the humbuckers will for sure give it a better sound and tone for that kinda music. i’ve noticed more ppl in the inde scene playing more teles then before, but you can never go wrong with a les paul. i also really like the gibson casino(i think thats the name) lol
