72 Telecaster Deluxe vs American HSS Strat?

I am stuck between which guitar to get, I like the tele but the only thing that bothers me is that it is MIM. Is is worth the extra 250 bucks for an American HSS Strat? Btw not interested in a Les Paul.

I’d go with the ’72 Tele. The 2 Humbucker set up in the heavy body will give you a great tone fro rock. If you’re looking for a more “jangly” style, get the strat and use the single coils.
