american fender delux 5 string jazz bass 1996 model?

Hi There,
Does anyone out there know if the american fender delux 5 string jazz bass 1996 model has the graphite reinforced neck. I know the 97 model does but want to know specificaly about the 96. Any players of this bass, your opinions please……. Thanx muchly.
