Fender Frontman 212R or Peavey Valveking 112?

Hello, I am a freshman in HS looking for my first amp. I have been playing acoustic for about a year, and am planning on getting a MIM Fender Strat to go along with the amp choice. While I was browsing guitar amps, I really liked these two. The Peavey is a 50 Watt Tube Amp priced at $420 and the Fender Frontman is a Solid State 100W priced at $330. I am going to be playing blues and a little bit of rock. But no Metal. I understand that a Tube amp is better for blues, but is it worth $100 extra? Thanks!

Wow Dude.

If you like the fat bluesy sound and real bass, get the Peavey without hestitation. The distortion is awesome on that amp because of the tubes. The highs are also nice.
You can’t beat the warmth and smooth sound of any tube amps no matter what solid state used.

If you like a clearer, more treble sound, get the Fender although their solid state is not one of the best. With todays sound, the tube is by far your best bet and a better investment.
