Are the Fender California acoustic guitars good?

I’m looking for an acoustic guitar under $400. I heard the Fender California Series is good. Any recommendations?

I ha vent played it my self, but looking at the features, the guitar is comparable with other guitars in the price range. If you don’t want your guitar to be acoustic electric, like the california then you could try to find a guitar the has a good finish solid wood top and sides. Realistically, you are not going to find a great sounding guitar in this price range. In the 300-400 dollar range you will get a nice acoustic, with good features built to a decent enough level of quality to last several years. And since the major guitar companies compete so much in this price range, it’s hard to able to say that one of these guitars from company X is a lot better than a guitar from company Y. So don’t give yourself a headache over which guitar you are going to buy. Go some place with a large guitar selection, and find one that’s comfortable to play and that you will like the sound and loudness.
