Car accessories- ANY IDEAS or RECOMENDATIONS?
I just bought a black 04 impala and wanting to do a little customizing. So far I have thought about fender/porthole accents and chrome door molding (no rims!!!) for exterior. For interior neon lights (where?). Dont want to over do it. Any suggestions?
Anybody know if autozone will install chrome molding around my doors.
What are the limitations for autozone as far as installing things for free. A little scared to do somethings by myself. Don’t want any critical damage!lol (please and thank you)
You dont have to do neons, colored bulbs in the footwells add a nice accent. Just install them in the existing locations in place of a white bulb. Getting the windows tinted is a good low buck upgrade. Rims will make a big difference as long as they’re not gaudy looking or too big for the car. Plus, big rims put stress on the drivetrain. For example: 22″s are overkill. You can try ebay for a set of the Impala SS take off wheels and they should mount right up. A spoiler is good, but they’re a little tricky to install. Another cheap upgrade is to paint the brake calipers. Red calipers against a black car with nice rims will get some attention. It’s all in the details, just look the car over and see what can be improved. Then go from there. Good luck.
