fender 75 tube amp
Tube Or Digital guitar amp?

I have about $500 to spend on a new amp. i have a few in mind. please tell me if my choices are good and which one you would take. also what is better digital or tube amps. if you would like to recommend another amp please do so. i play pretty much everything but mostly pop/punk, metal , and alternative pop/rock.

Tubes are best!

Valves are more responsive than transistor circuitry, and they have all sorts of nice sounding natural compression artefacts too.

It’s also worth noting that you can get an old Fender ‘silverface’ for not much more than your budget, and there’s a very simple modification to make these identical inside to the much more costly ‘blackface’ amps.

That said, DON’T MOD IT YOURSELF! Amps can kill quite easily, even when unplugged.
