fender 60th anniversary stratocaster

How do I lower the strings on my fender stratocaster?
I have a 60th anniversary Fender Strat made in Mexico. How do lower the string height?
there are a few things you can do but the easiest way is to increase the tension of the springs under the backplate, this will pull your bridge tighter and lower the angle on it, another way (and more likely easier) would be to lower the bridge saddles (the pieces of metal attatched to springs), there are two holes on each one for an allen key which you should have got when you bought the guitar if not you can pick them up at all good music shops, anyway lol you simply unscrew them a small amount and the saddle for each individual string will lower, its up to you really, the first option will lower the overall action of the strings but just make sure you dont tighten the springs too much lol, the second option is a quick way to do it and you can fine tune every string to the desired height before it starts to buzz.
