Guitar help, please and thank you!?

Ok, so I have the 60th Anniversary Fender Strat MIM.
It’s super nice, but the D string sounds muted or deadened.
It’s really weird, nothing is rubbing against it or anything.
Please help?
I replaced them a while ago, so I might need to again soon.
I use D’addario strings and they seemed great before this happened.
Thanks for those who answered, I appreciate it.

Hi! This may sound stupid, but I used to really clean my strings meticulously with a polishing cloth after each time I played my guitar. Once in awhile, the cloth would deposit tiny cloth fibers that would bunch up on the strings, and the result was a somewhat deadened tone for that particular string! Although this is probably not happening in your case, it is worth mentioning. There is also the chance that the D string is too close to the fretboard, and is essentially fretting out on the adjacent wires. Changing the string may be the ultimate solution, but check out these other possibilities first. Best regards, Dana
