Fender Blues Deluxe or Epiphone Blues Custom 30?

Comments on what you guys think is a better guitar amplifier. you can get both from around 560$ to 700$

My first instinct was ‘go with the Fender”. But after doing a bit of read up on the Epi…Man, that is one cool amp!

It has a tube rectifier and tube reverb as opposed to fender’s solidstate rectifier and spring reverb.

You can also switch between 15watt A and 30 watt AB operation. Very cool, and a versitile thing to have.

I noticed there is no effects loop in the Epi, but I’m not sure if the Fender has one either.

On Musician’s Friend the Epi is $650 and the Fender is $900.

IMO the Epi is looking like a sweet deal on a great little amp!
