How I can get the sound Greenday?
My favorite band is Greenday and most of the songs you want to play under their belt. I have a Fender Stratocaster and a Fender Frontman 15R amp. What settings should I use on my guitar / amplifier (gain, bass, TREB, media, reverb, etc.) to that may sound like Billie Joe? Thank you, thank you
Greenday sound is pretty easy to get to …… the question is how is your guitar set up? electronically talking about it? You need a guitar with a humbucker … really any guitar with a humbucker will do but that's probably the key …. your amp settings will probably be something like the low … in past 5 oclock somewhere midrange …. AT 5 o'clock … acute somewhere after 5 also. Youll need an amplifier with some gain reduction, but not too … im not familiar with the amp frontman, but I can tell you how to configure …. lower gain 10 …. turn the amp up …. I'll return it when you open your guitar volume, but leave it open and then back the gain level off your amplifier until the cushions comments (you should be able to stand up to your amplifier without feedback and any volume up) lose the reverb completely.
