Gibson Les Paul copy ICC?

I recently purchased a gibson copy WCC in the 1970s because it was very cheap and I liked the looks of it, and after being cleaned up a bit which is very good and plays very well. The only difficulty I have is Finding information on the company deemed to be held CMI at the Gibson 70. I guess it can not be much value for the price I have it for. Does anyone know who were really CMI and what is the matter with my guitar. It is a LP wood dark background and style cream gold before him / her. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The logo uses a typeface and settlement IIRC, the "MI" is very small and the "I" has a star rather than point of it.
