cheap gibson acoustic
Guitar deals?
My brother is interested in buying a Gibson Hummingbird.
Our local Guitar Center said they could lower the price to $1500-2000. Is that a good deal?
Also, I have 4 guitars (cheap Squier strat, cheap Fender acoustic guitar, Martin acoustic, and Gibson SG ’61 reissue). I treasure my Martin and Gibson, however I thinking about trading in the Squire and the Fender acoustic for a Fender Telecaster. I saw a tele at GC for about $399 (not Squire tele). How much money do you think I could get from trading in those two guitars? The Squire Strat did not come in a box, but the fender acoustic did.

Guitar center won’t buy your squire because they are so mass produced. They might be interested in the Fender acoustic but I think if you tell them you want to trade it for the Telecaster than they may work out a deal. If your brother can snag that Hummingbird for that price it would be a steal. They list for $3,589 and sell for $2,529 brand new from musicians friend.
