cheap fender stratocaster guitars
If I switch out my Fender Squire Strat pickups, can i get it to sound like a real Fender Stratocaster?

I have a Fender Squire Strat (the affinity series) Guitar, which is essentially a cheap version of the Stratocaster. I am now a serious guitarist (more so than when i bought the guitar) and i am finding that i am unhappy with the sound of it. My question is: Is there a way that i can switch out the cheap pickups for different pickups to make it sound close to a real Stratocaster? and if so, what kind of pickups do you suggest?

Hello! Yes, you can definitely make your Squier sound more like a traditional Stratocaster by switching pickups.
