boat fenders – information, please ….?

Is there a difference between the defenses of a yacht and a motor boat? Have checked some for sale on e-bay and they say they are described as ship to ship and I do not know if this is referring to a category or is the intended purpose. Hope you can help – thanks! thanks for information so far … the boat is 28mts and the fenders are 24 "long and 8" dia – the sausage! Oh, do say that are packaged and plans are inflatable. Is this the best type to buy, or you are already inflated? MANY THANKS TO DATE INFORMATION GUYS!

A fender is a fender, yachts use large enough to fit the size of the ship, and makes different sizes for different size boats too. One thing to keep in mind is that the size and where you have storage space, unless the mounting rails bow or something.
