Fender Strat Blues “Quack” sound, Guitar Stratocaster?
Is it possible to get that bluesy strat “quack” sound (ie- clapton) from a Fender Jazzmaster or Jaguar by switching out the pickups?

Type of pickup is one thing, you’ll also need to consider the wiring and the position of the pickups in relation to strings. The quack sound comes from the bridge and middle linked together in the hum canceling manner; reverse polarity in series. Pedals will likely have some impact as well. There is quite a bit of information available if you dig deep enough. I can’t say if you could get the sound you want without routing a hole and installing a middle pickup.
