Im picking out an electric guitar. i never owned one before… which should i pick? read descript. pics!!?

Ok so I’m going to pick out an electric guitar. Its between the sunburst Fender Stratocaster, or one of the Gibson Maestros in the pic (purple burst single cutaway on left or red & black double cutaway)..they are all the same price. so, for …someone like me who never owned an electric, which should I get? You an give me your opinion even if you don’t know anything about guitars!!! Thanks guys!!

I would go for the Fender, I myself have a Californian style Stratocaster and it is so easy to maintain, also, the pick-ups sound great, plus, more people play them, so you will be more recognisable.
