Can I paint over my Already finished Gibson les paul Jr.?
Ok, I own a White Gibson les paul Jr. And I wanted to paint either red or black pimp stripes on the body.(Like Synyster Gate’s) So, I really don’t want to send it to a place to pay a ton of money to be painted so, am I able to just do this myself? If I can could I just paint like Straight lines down it and let it dry? Also, Which color, red or black pimp stripes? Thanks!
Yes you are, first put one solid color on the whole thing, than use masking tape to mask off the stripes and than put gloss clear coat over the whole thing. Make sure you let it dry completely between coats. Red over black.
