I have a fender squier bass guitar. should i stick with it or switch to the dean edge 09 bass?

I am a beginner at bass guitar and have a Fender Squier Jazz Bass. I was thinking about switching to a (in my opinion) nicer looking bass, the Dean Edge 09. should i keep the better fender, or switch to the better dean?

Anything will be a step up from Squire. Technically, it’s not really a Fender.
