Which is better? A Gibson Les Paul Studio or Epiphone Les Paul Japanese 1993?

It really depends on what you like best, (The tone, gameplay, etc), but personally, I like the Gibson. If you look at an investment standpoint, resale will be on a Gibson much better. I played a lot Epiphone and many I've played sounded good and played very well, but not hit. That said, I play a Paul Standards that sounded really bad. If you buy a guitar can lead to a friend who has played more than help you pick one. And BTW, I own 13 guitars and one of the best I have is an Alpine White Gibson Studio. Good luck!
