I need someone with expertise in electric bass guitar and / or instrument amplifiers!?

I play bass in a band and I'd really like make some interesting sounds with my bass for a couple of songs (feedback, harmonic, things like that.) Is it possible to do this with my instrument? If so, how? If it helps, I have a 1974 Fender Precision Bass, and the amplifier I use is a sound of 800 W 810 B600H cab with a 600W head Acousic. I mean with just the guitar and amp I have. I know that you can buy effects pedals and such, but I have enough money to buy them.

Well, yes possible. You can use electric guitar effects (Distortion, Overdrive, Wah, Reverb, etc.).
