1962 sunburst fender stratocaster

Vintage Sunburst 1962 Fender Start?
I want a replica of John Frusciante (from Red Hot Chili Peppers) 1962 fender start (Tone Sunburst 3). has a very shabby vintage appeal to him, and I love it. here's a picture of what I mean by "shabby" and "vintage" look: vintage http://www.jftab.com/img/gear/guitar/frusciante-stratocaster-1962.jpg by saying, I'm mostly talking about a beating that the body and the neck of the guitar frayed edges of wear and tear (or synthetic to begin buying) and wear. other vintage parts (pickguard, pickups, knobs, etc.) can be purchased. Only I need the body and neck. any suggestions on where I can find this guitar? new guitar (not used) are very well along with vintage guitars. a replica exact departure of John Frusciante, of course, be better. 10 points best answer. thanks guys.
Hello! From my perspective, you have a couple of realistic options. First, you could buy a 60 "Worn Path" Fender Stratocaster (see http://www.fender.com/products//search.php?partno=0131010300 .) These new guitars are authentic and have said they are looking for vintage appeal (though not as "beat" as Juan), but are expensive ($ 950 for musicians Friend, see http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Fender-RoadWorn-60s-Stratocaster-Electric-Guitar?sku=526796). A second approach would be to buy a less expensive Stratocaster (Even a stain "or" factory second ", as it would not be worried by the marks), and treat him badly for a while. Drag it behind on the sidewalk, take some fine sandpaper (320 grit or so) and remove some of the finishes in strategic places, rub it on your belt buckle or some gravel on the road (see 20FENDER 20STRATOCASTER http://www.revelatorguitarworks.com/images/FRUSCIANTE%%% 20A53.jpg and http://www.yourforumisgluedtoasiteonfire.net/index.php?showtopic=2299&st=0&p = 76,399 and for more photos), there are many ways to abuse it without causing functional damage (sorry, I can not offer other methods, because the mere idea of intentionally ring a guitar makes me cringe)! None of these methods would yield an instrument that was exactly like the Stratocaster, John Frusciante, but if you get it so poorly marked, that would account for the difference (other than John or his avid fans!)? Best Regards, Dana
