12 string guitar gibson

which acoustic guitar is better for a beginner?
mitchell acoustic guitar or a maestro gibson guitar
and what is the difference between a 6 string and 12 string
If you’re a beginner I would go with the Gibson Maestro. Mostly because it’s cheaper and its not quite as (for lack of a better word) “fat.” the Mitchell is a “dreadnought” which means the body is much wider, and that’ll just make playing harder for you.
The 6 string guitar has 6 strings… the 12 string
has 12.
But seriously, the difference is that the 12 string guitar has 6 more strings, that are each an octave higher than the other six strings. the octave higher strings are right next to the other strings and they are to be played at the same time. With more strings, this makes for a harder time playing, and a very very hard time tuning and changing strings. It sounds nice, but do not get a 12 string if u are a beginner
