What Is A Good Guitar Amp Speaker?

I’m looking for a great 12 inch 8 ohm speaker for my 90′s Fender valve amp. I want to spend between $125-175.
50-60 Watts

Jensens were the standard on a lot of Fender’s. And the Jensen C12K is really great I think. I’ve got two in my twin and I love them. There were also quite a few Fenders in the 70′s that had JBL’s and Eminence as well.
Jensen seems to be the standard though on the Fenders; the Twin, The Bassman, The Deluxe, The Princeton, The Super, all have Jensens.

If you are looking for a more rock-oriented or even “British” voicing however, I might recommend the Celestion G12 “greenback” or the Vintage 30 (which is a cheaper replica of the AlNiCo Blue).
Eminence also has A LOT of speakers to choose from some I think would work would be Texas Heat (American tone) or The Governer (British tone).

but if you want to stay true to a “fender” tone, I would stick with Jensen.
